Main Task - Music Magazine Pages

This page shows evidence for my final music magazine cover page, contents page and double page spread.

This page also shows the method I used to create my music magazine front cover using Photoshop.

1) I began by choosing a background for my cover page. I kept in consideration my target audience throughout the colour choice of my magazine which is why I chose to use different shades of pink as the background. I chose to use a gradient of pink because it will look more appealing to my target audience as it is not one solid colour.

2) I then added a masthead to my cover page. It is important that my masthead is bold and clear enough for my target audience to understand and recognise the masthead as it will form part of the magazine's identity. In this screen shot it also shows how I have manipulated my chosen mid-shot image to ensure that my magazine front cover looks efficient.

3) This screen shot shows how my front magazine cover begins to form. It shows how I have added a number of layers in order to add co-existing headlines and graphics to my music magazine cover.

This screen shot shows how I have manipulated my double page spread image to bleed across the page. It also shows how I have adjusted the brightness and contrast of my chosen image in order to make my music magazine look more professional and appealing to my target audience.
